• I’ve noticed the Amazonification of my workplace more and more. Today I had to do a work training, but it seemed to be a repurposed Amazon training vid with some edits to make it more relevant to people who work at WF. It was rather strange going through it.
• feeling a little down because I didn’t have my full closing crew with me tonight. A callout meant that someone had to go close the dishroom so i was missing one person, which meant that we all had to do a bit more work. I hate that we have to cut corners every time someone calls out because yes we do need so many people on the crew and if someone ends up missing, it just means one less person who can close up the department. I am grateful that a co-worker (who transferred to another department recently) came to help clean up and close. I guess I’m that awesome that people still want to work with me even after moving on (jk)
• I’ve been trying to order a new cosplay for my Nagisa kig but have run into issues (because ordering from China has been fucked up for the past year or so because REASONS). I’m just mad that I had to cancel an Ebay order because they couldn’t ship the dang thing to the US. (I also wish they’d mentioned in their listing that they couldn’t ship to the US *sob*) So I now have to seek my dang cosplay elsewhere
• I had ordered a new itabag directly from Japan through Zenmarket, and it arrived recently, but now I don’t have any idea how to decorate it. It’s a very nice bag. Very stylish. i could put in some random Genshin stuff I had picked up over the past few months I guess, but I want to do something more with it. I shall brainstorm a bit.
• I was worried about J getting called up for jury duty (because he’s my ride to work) but he ended up not having to go to the courthouse anyway. Hurrah!
